Kaumudi H Prabhakara

I am a physicist interested in biology. Though I started out being deeply interested in physics, I feel that today, the most interesting and fascinating un-answered questions are in the field of biology. I strive to apply my physics training to answer these questions. Currently, my overarching interest is to understand how the structure of a complex microbial community relates to its function and manipulate the structure to achieve desired functions.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, traveling, and playing badminton. More recently, I have become interested in playing board games and role playing games.
